Uniform Heating

ALZETA’s gas-fired distributed heat-flux burners provide uniform temperature profiles along the entire length of your firetubes. The net result is better, more consistent heat transfer at lower peak tube wall temperatures. These burners are ideal for sensitive fluid applications where localized hot spots can damage fluids or create safety concerns.

Tests comparing the distributed flux burner with conventional tube burners show significant differences in heat distribution and peak wall temperatures. Conventional burners create localized high temperature heat zones, while Alzeta’s distributed heat-flux burners avoid hotspots and provide more even heat further down the length of the firetube.

Biofuels

The characteristics that make ALZETA’s burners excellent at low emissions are also ideal for operation on low BTU content fuels such as biogas, syngas or digester gas. The inert gases contained in the fuel reduce the flame temperature in the same way as air dilution. NOx emissions for biofuels are expected to be similar or lower than with conventional fuels.
