Extremely high void fraction within the ceramic matrix allows Duratherm to operate at high temperatures with low pressure drop. The ceramic composite material is supported by a rigid metallic frame and can conform to almost any fabricated shape.
Duratherm generates a quiet, low-NOx, flameless combustion reaction with uniform heat transfer and flue gas flow. Duratherm burners can operate on a variety of fuel gases including natural gas, propane, low-BTU biofuel and syngas, and hydrogen among others.
The Duratherm is selected for its uniform combustion environment in abatement applications and for its uniform heat transfer in fragile fluid heating.
